Please be aware that you are testing an early unfinished product. Bugs will be present in many places and data may be lost at any time until the final release, including messages. Please do not rely on this app during the beta phase. Parkquest is not responsible for data loss or incorrect information at this time.
This page will eventually be neatened up, but for now it provides up-to-date information on the state of the app and what can be tested, and if there's any critical bugs which are preventing things from working urgently.
This page can be updated without requiring an app update so check here first (if you can at least) should you have any major problems with the app.

Bug reports can be sent by screenshotting the app and then selecting the 'Send to Developer' option. You can also leave feedback if the app crashes for any reason which will be helpful to us for establishing the cause and fixing.
To see which beta build of the version you're currently running, head to the Profile tab within the app and pull the app up as far as it will go to reveal the version and build numbers right at the bottom of the page.

Parkquest is committed to your privacy. If you suspect a privacy breach within the app you can email us at [email protected] to have us investigate this immediately.
You are free to leave the beta testing program at any point if required, where your account and all data we have collected from you will be fully deleted accordingly.
The app uses your location but only shares this with our servers when you're visiting a park that is in our database.
When you are at a park we will use your device location to show your friends where you are on a map, as well as other friends not at the same park which park you're currently visiting. You can stop sharing your location at any time via the preferences toggle on the Profile page.
Your location data will also be used in future to anonymously calculate queue line data and areas within a park which are busy.
The app works on a close friends principle, where you can only be added if someone knows the email address you're using for Parkquest. Eventually you will also be able to add friends in person by scanning a QR code on their device. This prevents people you may not know from searching for you and adding you randomly. There will be options for blocking users in later releases.
With Parkquest Premium you will also be able to create a public profile for yourself. Think of this as a separation of your own personal account, for example, your own content creator platform. This will be public and allow anyone to follow it, but it remains separate from your own personal account and information you share with friends only, such as your location at a park.
We don't store your chat messages on our servers. Messages are sent via our partners (Google & Apple) to deliver messages via their push notification services.
Messages that you send and receive will be stored on your device to enable you to view your message history with another user. These saved messages can be deleted in bulk at any time from the Profile page.
We will offer a way for your local chat message history to be backed up (via for example iCloud for iOS users), or exported.
We use Stripe to process our subscription payments for Parkquest Premium. When subscribed these are taken on a monthly recurring basis and you can cancel your subscription at any point, however, we will not offer pro-rated refunds should you cancel part way through a month, and instead you will keep your access to Parkquest Premium for the remainder of your subscription until it has expired.
As a beta tester you will receive Parkquest Premium free of charge until at least 2028 when this will be reviewed.
Parkquest reserves the right to change the Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions at any time for any reason. We will endeavour to let you know should we need to make substantial changes.
The Parkquest Beta Program can be ended at any time by us, or you can be removed from it for any reason we see fit.
We are not liable for any loss of data caused whilst using the app.
